The "Running With Scissors" has the guy flying holding a ribbon in one hand and a pair of scissors in the other below the bottom trucks holes.
The similar Johnson deck is called the "Groovy Guru" |

OK. that clarified it somewhat.
but i had both at one stage a couple of years back, and im pretty sure that they were both called "Groovy Guru"... one was Groovy Guru Midi and the other was Groovy Guru Full, or something like that. the largest deck at the time was called the steroid. and the Star Eye was the mini... but it predated (and ran alongside) the others.
i seem to remember that when they brought in V6 concave, the GG full/GG mid/Steroid had the name/size/concave/dims written where the back truck goes. The star eye didnt cos it wasnt being manufactured when the V6 decks came in.
i could be talking crap, but thats what i seem to have locked away in my memory bank. |
