| Trucks don't add or subtract wheelbase. (Or at least not that I've ever seen/heard.) Measure the deck from the center of the front truck holes to the center of the rear truck holes and that's your wheel base. |

| None. Wheelbase is wheelbase, technically based on the distance between axles but traditionally, as Obed said, from inner hole to inner hole. Most traditional trucks have basically the same axle to kingpin side mounting hole distance. It's a little different when you look at cantilevered trucks like Randalls, but those all tend to be within very similar measurements like the traditional trucks. |

| I think modern thunders have a slightly different placement of the mounting holes which could technically make for minute differences in wheelbase when compared to other trucks. |

| Indeed. The important part of that is minute. In the extreme you may see a variance of 1/4 inch which in the greater scheme of things is really insignificant as extended wheelbase tends not to be noticed as much as reduced wheelbase and I doubt many would be concerned about a difference that is so tiny—let alone even notice it. |

| Like Slob said this is more a thing with trucks like Randal style trucks. You can see where the pivot cup is either in front of the baseplate like Randals (in front of the front bolt holes) or like Caliber where the pivot is in line with the front of the baseplate. |
