I have a double set of Hosoi Hammerhead decks in the For Sale section. I know the white is a 1998 limited reissue, but I have been told that the black one is actually OG. Can someone let me know how to tell? If it is OG, what are these going for now? I found one on eBad that is very similar to mine:

| that's one of the reasons I hate eBad - too many people trying to use fancy words to lure people in. If you scroll down, it says it's a re-issue of the OG hosoi hammerhead. So the posting header is misleading.... intentionally so, I imagine. Anywho, can anyone shed some light on this? |

| The one you referenced in your post has lazer etching and current truck hole pattern (as does the one I posted). So it's def a reissue. Yours looks like it has old truck hole pattern. What's the top look like? |

I've also been told from a reliable source that:
OG NHS/Canadian versions have TM after Hammerhead text. And under text say PAT PEND
OG skull skates version have skull skates logo under rear truck, have TM after Hammerhead and under say DESIGN PAT PEND
check my For Sale link above to see picks of the top. Pretty sure now that it's original. |

Yeah, it was Cyrk who ID'd it. Case closed IMO. Looks like one got mixed in with the reissues Holmes was signing... worked out for Nathan. |
