Can you help me identify these trucks?
Curved gullwing baseplates got me stumped.

Looks like they say Gullwing on them, but haven't seen the rounded baseplate like that before. Also appear to be new school hole pattern, probably newer Gullwing trucks. |

Yeah - could be frankentrucks - I've just never seen curved baseplates like this, and not sure about the hangers either. They came with this great old zorlac deck I recently got (from someone who didn't know either). Hoping to tap the collective brain here ... |

Had a set of those early/mid 90s on a Evol Rawls. Always thought they were a Shadow variation from that era. Not real helpful, I know. |

Those baseplates are from the early/middle 90's, but I was never aware of Gullwing making wider trucks back than.
My guess, Franken-wings? The owner used some wider hangers (from the very early 90's- possibility Gullwing Street Shadow hangers?).
Just speculation, folks. |

So is the deck double drilled? Or just new school pattern? |

Don't know yet - it's got a shitty regrip job on it, unfortunately, instead of the original ragged grip I would have preferred. I just got it, so I haven't even pulled the trucks off or de gripped it. I like 'em skated hard. |

Gullwing little G baseplate.
I'm not sure about the hanger though. |

Thanks to strohsbro2's little g tip, I came across these 90's ads ...
So - I think I can say the baseplates are 90's Shadow 2's. Although I could not find a pic of little g baseplates or trucks, it seems they were narrow street trucks anyway. May have used these baseplates, too. Still no idea about the hangers. Thanks for all the input! |
