Hey guys!
My friend and I make our own skateboards, but in miniature scale (105x32mm)
We've tried out various methods to aply graphics to our boards and now we want to try out screen printing.
Our plan is to build a miniature frame like the one on diyskate.com
We will be using Monofilament Fabric, 200 TPI mesh for the screens and Speedball Permanent Acrylic Screen Printing Poster Ink to print with.
The reason we chose the Speedball ink, is because it's avaible in small ammounts and we dont need a whole lot, since the prints are very small.
We would like the finished print to be wearable and smear like on a real skateboard, would that happen with the speedball ink? or should we find something else?
Anyway, i just wanted to check by here and see if we got it right?
Thanks alot,
Mikkel. |
