Hope all our brothers in Florida and on up the coast have already left to safer shelter from this category 4 hurricane that is expected to rip up the coast this morning.
Be safe brothers. |

I had a palm fran in the pool this morning....devastated really
I did a lot of prep for this storm, I mean better safe than not, but damn!
So my Saturday will be full of taking down shutters, reorganizing the shed...and that all depends on the path the storm may take, we may get hit again on Tuesday. |

Just got my power back on. I lost every cedar tree in my yard, some as big as 40-50 feet tall, but they all managed to miss the house. I live on the river and got lucky as hell that this thing came by at low tide on the river or it would have been flood city. The main thouroughfare, A1A, was not as lucky. The Atlantic ate her alive. Most of the damag took place right in front of my in-laws beach house. As a life long resident of this small town, it was pretty emotional to see all the destruction. Still, it could have been much worse. |

Hit us pretty hard here in Fayetteville, NC. I just got power and water back yesterday, and thankful for it I am! |

It sounds like the beach erosion was just awful. |

I got a big pine on the house, totaled dock, smashed fence and wet carpet. And a $4350 hurricane deductible. |
