I doubt anyone has a pair of these, as I understand they were never released to the public. But fuckin' A they are badass kicks and should have a place somewhere in the archives. These were made roughly 1987 when Santa Cruz was exploring launching a shoe line. This was a finalist, and would have been done in collaboration with Converse. My assumption is that the competition at the time was already too strong, and the shoe brand was dropped. Vans, Vision, converse, Adidas, Nike, Airwalk, etc. we're all massive brands already...
I'm still looking for more affirmative info on these, if anyone has feedback, please drop in...

Yes, they are mine. There is no size tag, but they appear to be roughly size 9. I have other prototype SC shoes too... Posted here:

That's a good point... they do look like Converse for sure. But the overall shoe style looks more like VANS. Like old school half-Cabs... |
