Hey guys, anyone here in Albuquerque? Thinking of moving out in september, I have a line on a apartment in nob hill already, but wondering how hard it is to find work there in the restaurant biz...

I figure I have a few years left in these knees and wanna have some better spots to session without losing the affordability so that rules out CAšŸ˜†

Any info would be helpful

Chad

Last time I was there it seemed like there was a lot of restaurants—and a shit-fuck-load of tattoo and piercing shops.

The unemployment rate in New Mexico is 6.2%. In ABQ the rates in the Leisure and Hospitality category show a small uptick in unemployment last month.

Hope that helps.

Really want to go back there—so much to skate!!

Nob Hill is a trendy area of AQB and is fun to visit. Just down the road you can walk into a used car dealership and see cars with bullet holes in them.

We visit ABQ about every 4 weeks as we miss having a bigger city up where we live. There are a lot of restaurants in ABQ of all types which is one of the draws for us. There is always something going on in town each weekend.

Then there are these things called arroyos in the desert and for some reason ABQ has a lot of them covered in crete. Going to start hitting some this fall.
