Anyone ride at night?

I am developing a skateboard headlight and tail light and hope to have the finished product by the end of summer. If you are interested please check out KngtUp.com

If you are looking for lights now, maybe check out Shredlights. They seem to have a cool product.

Cheers, Michael

Seems to be a concept thats been done over so far.tireflys has made their share of skateboard light products. I even bought some experimental riser lights designed by sumo somewhere before/ after 2006...still have that and seems durable as of now.what makes your project durable from impact and how is it powered?let alone how bright will these be and how many hours will they last on your concept of a power source?they make kinetic /magnet driven soft wheels now powered by movement of each wheel.
...curious how your ideas can be furthered for quality assurance. .

Also cost comes into factor..usb powered?how long do u have to charge them to get a "full"charge?how long will the charge last?

RadRod,
What makes your project durable from impact and how is it powered? Sturdy stainless steel bracket and nylon used for mounting parts. Direct hit would cause damage. I have ridden for months without issue tho. See link below for photo. USB rechargeable lithium battery.
How bright: 100 lumens
Cost: Should retail around $50-60 for the set
How long do u have to charge them to get a "full"charge?how long will the charge last? 1 hour charge lasts about 10 hours.

Radrod????
Who told you my "adult"movie actor name ??

Without showing you the design on my "riser"ed light to compromise its design, the prototype i bought years back is actually powered by 2 ,2032 sized watch batteries and i bought it for under $25 when i was at the peak of my market-purchasing gimmick geekdom...your price seems relatively high initially, but it catches on like roller-shark-balls,maybe it can then become "cost"effecient..

For that quoted initial price, most guys around here would most likely buy and complain about a reissue of a reissued graphic done in a never-before reissued color with reissued dimensions and reissued concaves..
