Every now and then, some estate sale lurker pulls out a super rare deck and it lands on eBay. I'm not sure how many of you saw this particular auction, because it didn't last very long... But it was titled "Santa Cruz JasonJesse Skateboard". I think because the name was spelled like that, not many people found it.
This is a pink 1st series with the bat nose and shark tail, and condition looks pretty amazing. Also has nice stage 3 Indy's with copers, which kept the hangers sharp! Lucky for me, I know the guy who bought it. He sent me a text like a panicked teenage girl freaking out. He goes, "man, I hope I just scored!".
Sometimes when this happens, people will contact the seller and offer more money to NOT sell to the BIN person, but this seller shipped the board next day, and my buddy got it. It's pretty damn clean!
He's a serious collector, but doesn't collect Santa Cruz... So, I offer him $650, and boom, the board is now on its way to me. He makes $550 in a matter of a week, and I get a $1,000+ super radical Neptune for my SC collection!
Here's the link:EBAY AUCTION LINK
Anyways, I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but figured it was a story worth sharing .
Sk8 on!

Yeah, I think. Haven't seen many sell recently, but I've seen shitty beat up Neptunes sell for Over $500. Like this one with the moon nose (not bat):
I'm just stoked to own it . |

Bat nose is next level.
The shark tails with the moon or blank area at the nose are the common ones and fairly easy to find. |
