I've read the other "master copy" thread, and am a lil hesitant on the slack I might get, but f-it. Disclaimer: I did not steal this copy and am looking for opinions. Here is my story:
I met a person very involved in the pro skateboarding scene in the 80's onward. He held a house party in the late 80's (in Canada). His friend Tony Hawk brought a new video with him called "Ban This". Tony ended up forgetting it at his house and later told that he got in shit for forgetting it as it was only 1 of 2 master copies. Long story short...I now have it in my video collection (which is quite large... approx. 600 vhs). Currently I do not have any interest in selling it, but recently I've been thinking about liquidating my vid collection and am wondering your thoughts on this Master Copy of Ban This.

Curious, what does it look like? A VHS with handwritten "master copy" written on it? Was there a Powell factory label on it? Is it in a "premium" case (like, some sort of plastic case)?
I have no idea the value, but just wondered what the markings of a master copy would be. To the right person, it's be a gem to have. |

It is a black hardcase with a white label. The top left has a stamp that says "DUBS Incorporated (with their address in Hollywood). There is old typewriter font that says " "Ban This" 78:20 mins. 11/15/89 NTSC Powell Corporation". The tape has a similar white label. |

Think it is the same. I didn't notice any additional footage (although I am gonna rewatch it again tonight) |

| FYI: I've reluctantly decided to throw it on Ebay (listed it yesterday). No clue what it is worth (only know what I've been offered in person), but it is certainly one of a kind. |
