Yeah agree - he's got some good players on there, too. I could write all day with that steady eddy shuffle / drums.
Heading out to Joshua Tree this weekend for a songwriting/painting journey with the family...have Room 8 even- why not? Been on a writing binge and no band to properly address it. Even have been testing on open mics...haha.
Reminded me to bring the kid toy accordion. Just have to tune to it.
Hit the "Americana" side of things, with a side of Pappy and Harriets. |

Checked his website and saw he's going to tour with Brian Fallon - up until the latest album I was shocked by how that dude could write the same song so many ways and have them different, melodic and catchy. Even my pops dug 'em...funny to cruise around and he's got a melody of Rancid, SLF, Gaslight Anthem, then Van Morrison.......always Van Morrison. |
