Hey all,
Stumbled across these whilst looking for something else. Maybe I'm clueless (but I know most skate photographer's work) about this guy. I think he took some shots for Skateboard World. William Sharp Photography. There are some great Shots of Alva, Adams, Valdez, Blood, Grisham etc. Unpublished stuff I think.
The thumbnails don't enlarge as big as I would like. But if you're a photographer smaller images at lowish resolution stops people from stealing your portfolio and printing it out.
Worth a look I'd say. Just Alva's lipslide at Reseda is worth the price of entry.

Edit: I hope they haven't been posted previously.
Edit 2: Yep he Shot for Skateboard World. A classic Shogo photo here.

Great photo's for sure . I've never seen any of them online before except for the skateboard world magazine covers. Never tire of looking at old 70's skate photo's. |

William Sharp is coming out with a book soon with a lot of unseen photos from the 70's. The cool part is that the photos were taken to the skaters in the photos and they were asked to tell their story about that day.
Buy it. |

Yep I found it, thanks. Not out yet, but it's going to be called Back in The Day. I hope some kind soul will help me buy a copy when it turns out it's not for sale over here. |

How to make yourself popular; dig up a thread from years ago and post it. The book Back in The Day has been out for a while. I bought a copy and it is one of the best skate books ever. 458 pages of truly great skate photography. Highly recommended. Buy it now, or don't.

The sample pics are good but simply don't do the book justice. |

Great book.
Although, the typo in the intro at the absolute beginning was a surprise. |
