That's silly. The best wood shops in the world are in Canada and Mexico these days—the latter being PS Stix which has been unbeatable for some time now.
Sure, PS Stix, BBS, etc. No problem with that. No reason for NHS not to do it in house, like Powell. And there are still a number of "best" wood shops located in the states. |

They have no room to do it inhouse—that's always been the case. Back in the hayday the wood came from a woodshop in the middle of a forest in Wisconsin. |
