A guy here in town used a product called "New Wood"

It was $40 sheet and seemed to last and ride as good as skatelite.

You got a product sample, or did you skate that place? Would love to read more about the specifics of that material.

Looks promising, but their corporate info is elusive. Google "NewWood Manufacturing" out of Washington state. Looks like they went into bankruptcy, and may have been picked up by an Eco Venture firm....

Hell no. It would be in violation of my 6ft rule.

So I found a spot here in LA that charges $150 a sheet of Skatelite of 1/4" natural 4'X8'. That sounds a little bit more reasonable. I need 12 sheets which comes out to 1800

I was tempted as one side of the mini has a vert wall ride up onto the kid's treehouse with a death window. Very tempting.

Just to confirm, sixth season with skatelite. No cover in the winter and we get a couple feet of snow sitting on the ramp for several months. Stuff is as smooth as it was in the beginning. Only issue is broken screws from freeze thaw moisture under the skatelite.

Anyone have a connection to get the "new wood" or skatelite without spending a gazillion dollars?
I need approx 14-15 4x8 sheets to redo my ramp 4 months after having put "moisture resistant" ply. Which is exactly the opposite of its namesake

Hit the guys up in whitefish good guys.

There's a guy here who has 20 plus sheets and some more halls, but he was looking to get 2 grand and some of it is drum lite.
