im going to start teaching myself how to play the resonator guitar so i can be a country bumpkin rock and roll geetar player. i dont think ill ever be in a band or anything serious but i REALLY want top learn this.
anyone have any stuff that would aid in the process. i dont plan to be takling lessons, and my father, an unbelievable musician, is 1000miles away and can only help so much. so i guess im just looking for extra help since i know lots of you play.
do any of you play the resonator or lap guitar???

Gusto, I just started to play the acoustic Guitar, (I have lessons starting in a little over 1 month) You are never to old to start a new thing in your life. The reason I'm trying to learn is because it's the only thing that truly relaxes me. The thing I like about the acoustic is that you can whip one out at a party and just go off. This guy Dave from a band called Sludgeworth got me really wanting to play. We were at a party and he would just go off and have total fun. Ever since that day, I've been wanting to learn how to write music and play Acoustic. GL on your resonator quest... |
