Christmas came a little early for me this year - my Factory 13 custom snub nosed long pig finally came! It's 10.5" x 35" with a 21" wheel base. It's 8 ply medium concave. This thing kicks ass, even if I do say so myself (I designed it). I had the big wheel wells (a la DogTown and BDS) routed into it and based the design on basically two decks - the Z-Pig and the oldschool Powell-Peralta Ray "Bones" Rodriguez deck. It's got a VERY light finish and is amazingly well made. One other thing I had Danny do was drill the truck mounting holes with both old and new school patterns so that I can play with different trucks as easily as possible.
Danny and I have taken to calling it the "Sick Pig" because, well, it's a pig and it's just so damn sick!
I'm in love with this deck! Danny is an awesome guy and was really cool to deal with. I'm definitely having him do more stuff for me. If you're in the market for a custom he's definitely the dude. Do yourself a favor.
He emailed me a photo of it but I don't know how to post it. If anyone would care to help me out I'd like to show it off here... |

Right now I have it set up with Sixtracks on Gravity wedges and I've been switching out BDS Shogo Kubo softpours and BDS dub cons with Bones Swiss bearings (I'm considering buying some of the California/Ron's bearings for a set of my BDS Red Dragons and another set of dub cons).
I'm also considering buying some Seismic trucks. Anybody have any experience with those or have an opinion?
It's a totally different animal than my BDS Longboard. It's a freakin' tank (and I mean that in the best possible way). With both decks I've achieved Valhalla! What else can I say... it's bitchen. |

The Seismics are killer. Kinda heavy, but turn like butter. I'm 180 lbs and am riding the 180mm aluminums with red springs on a Bozi MBII. Earth surfing goodness! |

i dont own these so i wont say much about them, but, once you get used to the turning on them, the seismics are amazing and may replace all of your other trucks! great for speed. |

Howdy,
Seismics freakin' RULE on decks with long
wheelbases! I didn't notice much(if any) dif-
ference when I put Seismics on my BDS Bull-
dog deck(changing from Webb Mike Smiths)
so, I put the Webbs back on. BUT...
on my BDS Longboard, they are SURF CITY!!
They rock. They are SOOOOOO SMOOOOOOTH.
I can't see replacing my Webbs with Seismics
on my shorter decks, but on my Ray Flores BDS
180mm Seismics certainly are a possibility.
I'm looking forward to slapping tthe 180mm
Seismics and Shitfires on my Afroman Hustler;
should be an awesome ride.
Seismics, check 'em out!
