It's minus twenty here, so I recently built these in my basement:

The ceiling is low so they are just under 2' high, 6' wide and about 15' from wall to wall.
First time that I built a ramp, about 15 years late, but still fun.[/img] |

Nice!
A good way to get through the winter.
Where up north are you? |

2' is better than zero, and I think any of us would love to have something indoors to fool around on when it's impossible to skate outside. nicely done |

Update
In case you don't have enough height for a full mini/micro this might work for you: I cut out a sheet for the base to make a smoother transition. It does not move at all and has not warped or bubbled in well over a year. It basically rides exactly like a mini.
I'm in Ottawa so the basement gets pretty dry in the cold winter and damp in the summer and I haven't had any problems.
