Pretty good. Kinda picks up where Heartwork left off. "Mount Of Execution" is probably the the only track they could've left off.

Im stoked on this album. Ive been a fan since I was in 7th grade(1992) and I agree this picked up where Heartwork left off. I mean Swansong was good but it was more of a "corporate" sound which I didnt care for.

Saw them last night at Troubadour, killer show. The set was mostly Heartwork & Necroticism, with a couple older tracks & tracks from the new album.

Diggin' the last Carcass! Although the blasts and pure deathmetal is pretty scarce on this one, they have killertracks and sound. You can't deny the modern swedish thrashmetal influence is present too. Still a big fan, gonna catch 'em on tour with Amon Amarth soon!

I wouldn't say Carcass were influenced by modern Swedish metal. It is the opposite in my opinion. No doubt At the Gates were listening to Heartwork before they wrote Slaughter of the Soul...
