How exactly does the heat transfer work as far as on shirts? What is the best size and brand to buy for doing shirts and sweatshirts? Also, do you need any other equipment, printer etc.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Yeah, you print onto the transfer paper, usually with plastisols. Then you will need a transfer machine, I dont think just an iron is hot enough.
Its just another step to do, but if you dont wanna mess up any shirts while printing you can just transfer them...

Depends a lot on the quality you want. There are low-end press systems that you can just print off of a color ink-jet or laser and get decent quality.
Image doesn't hold up as well and is usually limited to light colored shirts.
The screened transfers that Annex is talking (I think) about are almost as good as images screened directly onto a shirt but are expensive and usually done in high volume. |
