Car guy, Active duty Soldier who only gets to skate when I can make the time. With that being said I still DO make the time.
Before I got stuck here in Korea I did a several year stint as a welder and machinist for the Patton Museum of Armor at Ft. Knox KY, before it moved to Ft. Benning, GA. Restoring light tanks and basically anything they wanted worked on so I could have fulltime access to the machine shop. It was all volunteer work since they don't have a paid resto staff there, but hey how many people get to drive a Tiger or Sherman tank in their life besides I get out of the army very shortly, hoping to get a job hook-up.
Joined on here mainly in the hopes of finding an NOS copy of my first board, a Lake guts deck. However now that I see it's ok to be addicted I have revised that goal to hopefully getting at least one of all the lake models.
Now I just have to find the money to support my car, camera, and god knows what other collections. |

welcome to the forum mate
i should be doing my army rifleman basic training now but i got a glandula fever type sickness a few weeks ago and had to get it postponed. A bit annoying have to wait until june now...
Calvaryman was my second preference, im guessing it wouldve been similiar to a cav scout.

It is kinda nice to know I will be retired from my first job before I am 40 though. |
