Anyone have this happen before? Just sent out a deck to a buyer and they left this on his door saying he has to pay when he picks up? I shipped it the same priority way I always have and USPS measured/weighed it and everything then I paid for it......

I've shipped about a hundred decks and never seen this before!

Take the info from your receipt (weight, zip, price) and calculate online. If it looks like a PO mistake I would take it down to your office and talk to the "postmaster" about it. Sometimes they will even call other offices.

Oh and make sure the buyer is on the level and doesn't have a stack of blank notices. Send him a pic of your receipt

Thanks Matt, the buyer is a legit guy that I've sold to a couple of times before with no hassles...

I had this happen once - I owed like 17 cents or something like that. What I couldn't figure out was the package had the weighed mail sticker for postage - so not sure how it could have been short on postage...

Ok found out what happened it was my fault. I sent the package out parcel post since it was Cali to Cali and it was in a priority box wrapped in a brown paper package. Well Evidentally the paper had ripped magically from delivery and the usps saw this and are now forcing him to pay for priority since its in a priority box.

So the difference was like 11 bucks and the buyer paid it while I offered to reimburse him. He's a good dude and like I said he has bought from me before so he just paid it himself.

I thought I might be doing him a favor and recommended the forum to him but on second thought it will probably lose him more money too!!
