I've been sitting on this bit of news for quite some time, but I guess I can drop it now, since it's getting out over on facebook.
Stiff Hombre Records (a label run by my wife and I) are releasing a tribute album to legendary Texas skate punks the Big Boys.
Band involved:
Night Birds, Riverboat Gamblers, Toys That Kill, Negative Degree, Occult Detective Club, Mind Spiders, The JunK, Landline, Spokenest, Low Culture, Ghost Knife, Phantom Afflictions, The Nervous, Death Crisis, Ditch Patrol...
and...
legendary skate rock bands JFA, Drunk Injuns and Los Olvidados!
It's only just starting to come together right now, and we are hoping for a late summer release. Vinyl only release with the first 500 having screenprinted covers.
I'll have pre-order information once all the tracks are in hand.
This is a 100% legit tribute that is endorsed by Tim Kerr and Chris Gates.

Just saw Hot Snakes on their Australian tour and they did a great version of Red/Green as an encore.
