Each truss is assembled from 5 pieces, on each truss two of the pieces were installed backwards so the brackets are in the wrong spots. Two trusses up and we have to take them back down this weekend to fix that problem

Whatever, lol, were still stoked.
Cue the Benny hill music, fucking A.

Some shit like this - http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/...russ;pgt055p.html

It's supposed to be good up to 80mph winds and snow loads.

I think it's this one?
55'W x 80'L Tan

I may have earlier stated that this was a super duper expensive ramp, but that was an estimate with labor costs. Since pretty much all labor is donated and a bunch of materials the cost is around $70G.

I could be way off on that one too, what do I know, I just worked a 13 hour day and I'm drinking on the netz?

I LOVE THIS RAMP LIKE GOOD PARENTS LOVE THEIR CHILDREN.

Whoever put the trusses together, they fucked it up. We have to take down the two trusses that we just put up and switch around some parts.
We start this Friday and should have all 4 trusses up by Sunday if we have enough kooks.

I thought I updated this thread but I think I've been lurking on FB way too much.

For "the book" I wanted to take my whole collection to the ramp and photograph it from one of the kickboards but that's not happening until the roof is up.

This is going to be a long 3 days.

I'm still over the fucking moon about this ramp.

William Stein -
"Wow. In two hours, we lowered, fixed, and lifted the end truss! Ryan Spence is da man. All trusses are fixed now except the one in the middle - Tomorrow (Saturday) we will need lots of help lifting at 12 pm - come by and help us fix the remaining truss!!"

Pretty much sums up today's progress. I'll try to keep this posting to just milestones from now on soz I don't bore y'all with shit nobody cares about.

I still never get tired of looking at this masterpiece.

Awesome ramp, the rain cover looks equally colossal.

The weather sucks, I'm sick, flatbottom is a bubbling up.
Somebody's there tensioning the roof cables but other than that, shit's kind of slowed down.

Would have been cheaper to get some used skate lite.

Sorry to hear all the problems.

It's only the sub layer that's bubbling up, so it's an easy fix.

Were going with birch for the final layer, this ramp isn't really about cheaper, it's about building one of the biggest private covered ramps in the world.

Honestly the budget is huge.

I'm very proud of this ramp and the whole build team
