its been quite a while since i have visited s&b and am completely lost, its not easy finding old topics. a few years back someone posted some info on boxes from usps that a deck wll fit in. all my old boxes either got tossed into the recycle bin or destroyed by small children building forts. so now im in need of them and any help is appreciated. thank you in advance.

Don't use flat rate boxes though, they have been giving me a hard time about it. It ends up looking something like this....

I use flat rate boxes every time, almost every week, they just ring it up with the price of the weight at priority.

The non flat rate priority boxes are too short. the game board boxes aren't really convenient. two flat rate boxes are perfect and if you do it a certain way, are very sturdy.

If you're shipping a longer board or international-then I use 3 of the non priority boxes .

If you have $2 to spare (or ask your buyer):

Get acid free, scratch and moisture protective bags while you're at it:

Your choice of bubble wrap and/or peanuts:

USPS boxes might be free but don't offer enough protection especially if shipping international with multiple reloads and possible inspection.

Yeah, I told them that I get flat rate boxes shipped to me constantly. Last 2 times they denied me and said that it will either get shipped back to me or that the buyer will get charged on their end. The non flat rate boxes combined are a little shorter but I just shipped a natas in one and it was fine. I guess this all depends on the post office you go to.

The post office here won't let you use the flat rate boxes taped together, even tried turning them inside out, no go.. Damn hag.. They'll ship the regular ones taped together though, thats what I usually use..

I guess it'd probably make more sense written Board game box,

it's listed on the USPS site. they keep them behind the counter at my P.O.
