Hello everyone this is my beloved board
and I need some tips on doing board stall spine transfers. I always clip the coping on my way down because I don't have much of a nose and bail but I can land it sometimes if I get lucky. Is there any tips for me or should i just go straight to blunt transfers? Thanks! |

A board with a nose is really helpful for this. More room for error and you're less likely to have your foot come off the front. Or worse, hang up.
That or just straight to blunt transfers. |

....and welcome to the forum!
You are into Powell so hopefully the hazing will be less severe. |

Welcome!! got pics of your ramp?
Mike: " Hey Tony...how do you do ramp to ramp transfers?"
Lance: "Up and over..."
you could : fakey rock to 5/0 pivot (onto spine) and b/s kickturn out of it OR
you could f/s 50/50 grind into it and b/s kickturn out of it OR
you could kinda approach it at an angle, f/s air over spine and land...
there are numerous other possibilities |

Thanks for the ideas guys I appreciate it! But my ramp is actually a bowl but I figured I see more ramps with spine transfers than bowls so I posted here . Here is a picture of the bowl if you guys are interested!
It is about a 4 foot shallow end and a 6 foot deep end. And here is me doing a tail stall nose grab in the deep end, I guess I should just suck it up and learn blunt stalls then

if you are just going over on the rails, do it exactly the way your dude mcgill did in animal chin. grab the tail yank that fucker in. fairly simple. |

That park sure looks like Hingham, MA! Is it?
I can do transfers to the shallow end (see 1:35 http://youtu.be/09BPyR5YOlY
)...but my board has a longer nose.
You can also try to go over the spine backwards! See 2:28 - http://youtu.be/eAwlSjJUTCg
I'm still working on going over blunt... |
