i'm usually pretty good at figuring out how stuff is/was done but this one has me stumped.

The blank was for the zorlac art show goatfarm was putting on. It was a blemished deck so I sanded it to bare wood. Then I ripped some broken decks in to 1/2" strips, and laid them out on the blank. Then i laminated them to each other and to the deck with wood glue and a few clamps. Then I cut it close to the shape with a jig saw, and flush trimmed it with a router. Then a straight bit on the router for the eyes and nose. It needs a bunch more sanding and stain and finish, but after a year of no progress, I felt like posting the pics. I got this logo made for the top.
