Hey there, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

I've been poking around this site for a day or two (after just discovering it) and am beyond jealous of some of the collections you guys have.
About me - 39 yo ex skater reliving my youth. Still surf but haven't had a rolling skate set up for 10 years, that must change.
Grew up listening (and still do) to the usual punk influences - Ramones, Misfits, Descendents, Suicidals and local Oz stuff like Bored, Powder Monkeys, Magic Dirt, Hoss etc.
Anyway without boring anyone senseless... I'm going to slowly collect some cool stuff that means something to me (usual late 80's PP, Alva, SC, Vision NOS but had a real big Gonz obsession as a kid and nothing has changed!)
Love to hear from anyone relating to Gonz boards....anytime.

Anyway that's me, if you see me sniffing around or sending you a PM about a board...at least now you know who I am.

Cheers

Youngy

Thanks buddy.

Yeah, Tim Hemensley was something else.

5 foot nothing but the scariest guy on stage I've ever seen.

Id almost welcome any touching right now to be honest...lol

Appreciate the offer Taras, I'm still rehabing a bloody lower back bulging disc/facet joing thing that's had me like an old man for a few months.... Might look to get an old school set up once I'm back to full rat power so I'll let you know.

Hi Youngy,

Looks like we are peas in a pod - albeit I'm a couple of years older. Ive just stepped on a board for the first time in years now that my son has shown some interest in skating. I'm looking at picking up a gonz deck as well…had a few back in the day and always loved them so thought can't go too wrong. Can I ask where you used to skate?

I spent a lot of time at the hat factory in Eltham, the ramps at greensborugh (I helped make them) Parhran ramp and Northcote ramp. Made trips all over the city!!

Right in the band scene still, played the Tim H 10 anniversary show 18 months ago with my old band…

Cheers

Andrew
