Just finished Conrad Black's book "A Matter of Principle". Love or hate the guy he is pretty damn smart and very interesting.
I'm also burning through a lot of Kurt Vonnegut lately and have just started "While Mortals Sleep". |

Eddy Merckx biography by Wiliam Fotheringham.
One of, if not, the greatest athletes ever; motivated not by money but by worry. A complicated man and amazingly could have been even better than he was if it were not for a very unfortunate track racing crash.
Eddy Merckx 445 professional wins. Lance Armstrong less than 100. (not to take anything away from Armstrong's cancer comeback and TdF wins)
Also The Big Short by Michael Lewis and for light relief World war Z by Max Brooks. What's most interesting about this is not the Zombie stuff but the geo political effects of any mass contagion. (well, maybe not such light relief ) |

Where you been hiding?
Oh yeah, books. I've been getting all Christopher Lowell with Casa Yucatan and The New Hacienda. |

Just started reading Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash.
Can't believe this book is 20 years old.
Totally bad ass. |
