I was reading about these over on Silverfish...some new high-performance wheels made at SkateOne.

Any of you guys over here have any insight? They apparently were called Experimental Bombers, but somehow got named "These Wheels" instead.

I kinda wonder what took so long for 'em to make this type of wheel (the squared off/longboard style wheel). I hope they don't ditch the Powell Bomber they have now, I like the rounded edge. Than again, I'm not longboarding- just skateboarding.

Do you know what name they will be under? Powell Peralta? Bones? Surfone?

Interesting. This could either be a "game changer" in the longboard community...or go ignored because they're from a "skateboard" company.

Look cool for what they are.

They've got a LOT of big names on their wheels, from what I've heard. But they are really playing up the hype machine

George Powell said on his Facebook page-

"
Re the Theseā„¢ wheels. We have created an amazingly fast, durable and stable wheel for downhillers. Our testing has indicated it should wear at least 2-3 times longer than what is currently offered, and handle very well. The secret is in both our very high rebound, full width, bonded hub and, of course, our ultra high rebound, proprietary tread materials."

I have no doubts that this wheel will take everything up a notch.

Wow, thanks for all the support these last 12 years, George! hahaha.

Make mine ABEC11, Gravity, or Seismic, thank you very much.

I do like Bones STF.

I've heard $70 or thereabouts bandied around for the introductory price on these

But, it's cool, bro...These will outlast any wheel, bro, so the excessively high price is worth it, bro
