Strohs, dude, seriously, we would LOVE to have you for a coupla daze.
I am really looking into a spring time trip to the farm to see you and the family.
Bummed that the cows are a little particular....would dig to do some milkin'.
It's been too long.
I'll spread some hay for 'em or do some feedin'....somethin'.
I miss being around animals on a regular...goats, horses, cows, chickens, ginuea hens, burros, ducks...had all of them around me growing up. Wife nixed me on the goat scene...but, perhaps if she gets to meet a nice minurature goat....
Yeah, Zodes...can't wait to test the sauce recipe on some Prime Beef upon your arrival...and Slobby will have to have a freshly fatted calf sacrificed in his honor.
Olive, talk to Grime...and I'll be waiting to hear from 707 as to when we can get Pac Hessian over for a bay area S&B deal...maybe even BartD.Folker!
Maybe TCB can hand deliver some of that Tupelo wood for my next project while we're at it.

Dream a little dream with me, breddahs..

Tupelo Parks and Rec is so stoked on the fundraising and layout I've done for the skatepark here, they're already talking about public park #2. Everybody skates the pool at Elvis Presley's birthplace every year (about this time) when they drain it, and I have explained to them that until we get some nice concrete, people are gonna keep defacing the king's pool. So the Mayor tells me to design a park to put in Elvis' Birthplace Park to work toward in 2004 -
This is a shitty drawing, but just to get the picture in your heads, check it:

Whaddaya think - is it fit for a King?

How do you think the cost would be if I dug it out myself, (uncle's backhoe)installed drainage, framed and shaped it myself? What is a site to look at pool coping? All I would need, is cement poured, and shaped. Then coping installed. Right now I am 60 percent sure It will happen. Got the ok from the Mrs. Have to wait for Bonus check to do the REAL thing.

How much do you think it would cost if we dug, did the drainage, tied all the ri-bar and set the coping ourselves (we can have pipe bent for nothing)?

Do you always have to have a sump-pump or a tie-in with sewage or something? Do you think drainage tiles in leach beds would take care of most of it and we could just pump the rest out when needed? Or is this in no way possible? Would be cheaper to build it out of treated wood and cover it in skatelite.

Is therer any way to rent mixers and pour sections yourself? Or do you need a shot-crete pump truck? We are talking about a 4-7 foot deep (sort of like chickens shape).
