Gotta watch that and the ones on Big Star (always been skeptical about the hype there) and the Sunset Strip.

The Search For General Tso was awesome. Rad history of Chinese immigrant settlement/diaspora, cultural food trends and it also explains why every Chinese buffet has the exact same shit!

The documentaries of the Nazi's are pretty interesting.

The movie HomeFront is alright (Jason Statham)

The Sunset Strip one sucked bad. Cool early history (20s-50s), but completely glossed over the punk & hair band eras. Which are the parts I was interested in of course.

And about the last third of the movie was kind of round table discussions with the kids of old rock dudes and kids of the club owners talking about how they're like "keeping the magic going and staying relevant." Ugh. Seriously like Lou Adler's kids talking with Kelly and Jack Osbourne about how it's still jumpin.

I think the clubs financed it and that's pretty obvious. Like a commercial for their sucky modern day version of the strip.

Yeah, Nazi stuff is like half of the content on there. It's like an endless source of material I guess?

I've had Home Front on my list for days, maybe I'll get around to it now. Thanks.

Watched the Documentary

FREEWAY Crack in the System,

The story of a black kid who aspired to be the next Arthur Ashe (Tennis Great) but instead became the Crack KING of America.
Quite the radical transition ?? Lol

Interesting & SAD to see how this poison came an epidemic in AMERICA and still is today.

The now reform Crack King is out of Jail and seem to be a genuine Nice Dude - He Apparently inspired some N.W.A Songs, other Rap Artist, the world portrayed in film & video games, Rick Ross (THE RAPPER) even stole is name without consent and is an ongoing legal BS.

A must watch if your interested in that type of shit.

I had super duper high hopes for Love and Mercy (Brian Wilson biopic) and it was total shit. Cusack as Brian Wilson?

Eddie Aikau doc was worth watching of course. Had a good bit of Hawaiian history in there and tied it into surfing history. Made it that much more interesting.

Same with The Art of Conflict. It's a primer on the Northern Ireland Troubles told in conjunction with their political murals which are rad by themselves. Killer soundtrack thru the whole thing, it kicked off with the first bars of Suspect Device (Stiff Little Fingers) so I knew straight off that I would enjoy it.
