A20 Pinup Nose Art Deck Project

This is a test board before I knock out a long await and heavily researched deck meaning lots of paint samples to make a distressed section of metal that actually has no real scratches in it.

Sorta like if you ever painted and combat weathered a model kit.

Sorta that crazy.

14th try is the charm and this is it. This show various distressing marks over aluminum. The olive green cadmium which I mixed from an authentic recipe including the Toluene thinner to get it right.

Late models of B29's were not painted camoflauge green to reduced drag.

nice, I'm looking forward to this. When youre finished, I'm pretty sure you can use the leftover tuolene in your gas tank.
