What is the best/most cost effective way to ship a pair of trucks?
Any tips would be appreciated. |

Where to? I just shipped a set to Indiana from Massachusetts in a regular box and it was $9.75 for priority with confirmation. You could use a $10.92 flat rate box too, that's priority. Trucks are always more expensive to ship than I expect. |

I use these and have pretty good luck. These are all priority with del-con numbers shipped from US.
USA - $12.00
Canada - $17.00
Australia - $55.00 |

Throw in some padding, even if they're not new. I received some trucks from a forum member that were tossed in a box with no padding and I was less than thrilled. I know trucks are meant to be skated, but they might be a gift or for display, etc. Show that you care, unless you're not bothered about follow-up sales and possibly ruining your name on the forum or wherever you're selling. Also, axles can bust through the side of a box so make sure those are covered too. Oh, and make it fun, this way everyone leaves with a smile. |

Yup, but I have found you have to disassemble the trucks completely in order to fit "properly" into the small flat rate USPS box, this means removing the kingpin from the base plate too. I usually check with the recipient to see if they dont mind receiving the trucks in this fashion, otherwise shipping goes up in cost. Their choice.
The same USPS small flat rate box shipped out of USA is $14.00 I believe. |

Are you talking about the Tyvek envelope? Those are handy to throw trucks in, IME, and fairly cheap as well. But, I don't know if I'd send a set of mint Indy Stage 4's in those envelopes... |

you can wrap/pad the trucks
you can have them stamp FRAGILE on the parcel
or you can obviously go w/ a box as well
just offering up options
carry on |
