Good news guys!,
Lyla's AFP number dropped this month to 29! We are super stoked! We got all the test results back and everything looks good.
MRI and Chest X Ray all clear. She has been on antibiotics
since January to protect her from a particular type of pneumonia that can be deadly to babies with a low immune system.
But the Doc says she doesn't need to take them anymore.
Lyla still has her port in (you can see it in the photo above,
just above her left nipple) and it will probably stay in a few
more months. If her AFP continues to drop over the next 2
months, they will most likely decide to take it out then.
Thanks again for all your positive vibes, thoughts and prayers.
We know they have helped.

Hey Guys, our little Lyla is doing so well!
Her Last 2 test results have been awesome!
I'll have some more news after this Monday.
So much to be thankful for. Thank you all for
asking about her and your kind words. It means
a lot to our family.
11-13-12 outside Rady Children's Hosp after her
Oncology Doc appointment, blood draw for lab, MRI,
chest x ray and Pediatric surgeon consultation to
remove her port. Long day. She's so good.
