It takes two seconds to donate. I encourage everyone to do so.
I have two beautiful daughters and a brand new baby boy. I know how much I freak out if they cough too long, I cannot fathom your situation. May your daughter perservere and recover stronger than ever. |

I have a niece (Hannah) that was diagnosed with leukemia at 5, went into remission at 7 or 8 then relapsed again at 10. She has been through a lot but doing really good right now. Any time I hear the words "child" and "cancer" my heart breaks.
Your baby girl, you and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!!
Also, check out CaringBridge.org . It is a great way to update friends and family about her progress and receive emotional support. My sister-in-law updates Hannah's regularly. Here's a link to her page to give you an idea of what it is.

Last summer my 5 year old nephew Jimmy was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Doctors say he was probably born with it.
Jimmy has gone thru one surgery already, I was so relieved that he still
knew who Uncle Steve was after he came out of it.
If the next MRI shows any tumor growth, he will need to start chemo asap. Breaks my heart to see any child go thru this...

I can't even imagine... I love my kid so much.
Donation made, and I challenge anybody here to come up with a reason they can't give something to help this kid! |

Thanks for all your positive vibes and support. We were in the hospital from Dec 9 to Jan 9 recovering from surgery to remove a large tumor from her pelvic area. We did one round of chemo before we were discharged and just returned from 4 days at hospital for her second round.
In ICU for a week recovering from surgery
THESE NEXT PICS ARE FROM HER POST SURGERY WOUND! DON'T CLICK LINK IF THIS KIND OF STUFF UPSETS YOU!
They had to open her up from the front and the back

Her backside wound was too large to close with stitches. We had to pack it with gauze and change it daily.

They had to remove her coccyx and part of her sacrum to deliver the tumor out her backside

It finally healed up enough to get it stitched up

She had her stitches removed last Monday. There is only a small portion that has not closed yet. We are home and resting/recovering from chemo and surgery. Will return to hospital in another few weeks for 3rd round of chemo.
Here is one from today Jan 31 2012
Check the link below for updates and her progress. And feel free to share the link with anyone. Thanks again for all your support.
