post knee surgery restlessness and digging through a crate of old art work. i thought it was damaged and thrown out with a batch of work from 2001.


charcoal 60" x 48" - had big plans but never finished it.

thanks fellas. yeah Chip, it was kind of a nice slap in the face to find it. the first two in this photo were definitely thrown out.

combination of compressed charcoal, vine charcoal, and generals charcoal pencils. Bob's Fine Vine Charcoal is really good - he makes it himself and sells it in big zip lock bags - out of Eugene, Oregon. Paper is a heavy weight BFK Rives - I buy it in 10 yard rolls, works for me.
