I copied the tracking number sent to me.
I pasted it to the UPS site.
I get this:
>>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.
How much later? It has been a few hours.
How can I tell if the number is legit?
How many digits? Numbers and letters? |

#LL###L########### where L is a letter.
I'm sure this format can change. I just entered a tracking number and it's working just fine. Is your package scanned into the system yet? |

| I had a package ship today at around 4, tracking info was available a few hours later. Info may take up to 24 hours. |

I work with UPS' Worldship software and the system assigns a tracking number when you 'send' the packet in their system.
When the UPS guy picks up the days shipment, you send all tracking infos to the UPS server, and then they are trackable through www. |

Thanks again for the input guys.
The seller had sent a prior bad tracking number.
The number from last night is working tonight.
I guess this will happen after trust is lost. |
