If anybody here lives in Dothan, AL - the southeast - or would just like to see something worthwhile built in a place that has long since been dying for a permanent local to skate - please like the facebook and maybe go to a benefit or why not go to all of them?..

Whole lot of skate plaza in that.... and it looks like candy.
That bowl in the back looks like it may be interesting. |

Hey Joe. Nope, still in SLObispo, and just trying to lend a helping hand where skaters might need it. And Blair, you're not wrong, every skatepark could use some varying terrain. Though I do think the one you're looking at is the design planned for Birmingham, not Dothan. The people in Birmingham are planning their skatepark around skaters and skaters who have special needs. The A.Skate Foundation is out of northern Alabama. Give them all encouragement as well as constructive critisism. In the end the last places that recieve skateparks will hopefully be newer and nicer places to ride if we help them along and point them in the right direction. Like them and help 'em out! |
