IF YOU WANT ONE PM ME.
I'm really pumped to tell you guys that Dave and I have worked out a deal that will allow me to offer a few of these sculptures for sale. The number that will be offered has not been finalized yet but it will definitely not exceed 20. The first one will be ready to ship out at the end of the month!
To give a little background about myself, I have worked in the collectibles industry for almost 9 years. I spent the majority of that time working for McFarlane toys where I learned how to take a project from initial concept all the way through to finished 3d prototype. I am quite literally a one man band. I do all my own sculpting, molding, casting, graphics and fabrication. I outsource NOTHING. China will not have their hands on this project in any way. I have a trusted reputation within the garage kit and collectibles industry. I'm mentioning these things to help allay any misgivings you might have about handing me your hard earned money in exchange for a piece of fine art. I make my living as a sculptor/artist so it would be folly on my part to rip anyone off or not follow through on my promises. So please rest assured, you will get what you pay for if you choose to buy something from me.
So... the details- The sculpture will cost 400$ shipped to your door, anywhere in the US. Outside the US, you'll have to contact me for a shipping quote.
It may seem like a lot of money but please keep in mind, you are basically buying a piece of fine art. Not some mass produced action figure crap. This is not a toy for your kid to play with. It takes me nearly 3 days of work to put one of these together and paint it.
I may be open to trades for skate stuff (decks) but please keep in mind that I would expect something of equal value in return for
my hard work. I wouldn't rip you off so please have the same
respect for me.
The sculpture itself is 1/6 scale. It's pretty big, measuring nearly
20 inches in height. It will definitely have a presence in your office/man cave/shop
It's light too. I think they only weigh about 4 lbs. They are cast in the highest quality urethane resin.
The sculptures will be signed and numbered by me. I am
working on getting signatures from Dave as well. (probably in the form of a stick on plaque.)
They will be sold on a first come first serve basis. I will create a list of those interested in buying one. When your statue is ready, I will let you know and I'll give you 3 days to make a payment. I let you know when your copy is ready, you pay, I ship.
So that's pretty much it I think. I'm more than happy to address questions. Either through this thread or PM. Don't forget , you can check my blog for more pics!
Thanks!!

Can you have my "Mini-Hack" put on a shirt for, say, an extra $20? |
