I saw those BDS decks elsewhere...... might as well jump on the downhill/longboard market- they certainly can't make their regular deck...... always SOILD OUT on the BDS website.

No, I'm not looking to buy one, I've got plenty of other warped decks.

This one is not warped, very solid construction, at least 12 plys of, I believe, baltic birch. Super stiff, it's a Dan Sturt/Wes Humpston collab.

Stubbs, those were built around Gullwing Charger trucks. If you run something different you'll have to mod the dropthrough cutout and the cutaways for the wheels. Since it's black it's easy to touch up after the mods.

well, we all know how popular Gullwing Chargers are with the downhill crowd........

Actually the Gullwing Charger and it's Tracker counterpart, the Fastrack, are both really good, well designed cantilever style trucks. I've ridden both at places like Indian School ditch and they are more than adequate.

GrandmasterB has some Chargers set on some black Dregs wheels right now in For Sale!

Put 'em all together and call the board "The Black Ninja."

I wasn't really trying to rag on Gullwings, and certainly not the Trackers (Fastracks are on my "to buy" list). But I was pointing out that BDS, like many other companies, are trying to jump on the "Me Too" downhill bandwagon.
The BDS 44" POP deck makes sense..... this black deck does not.
Just my .02, of course.

I didn't think that at all. I thought Sturt had an idea and Wes, basically, gave him a platform to make the idea public.

Edited for terrible grammar.

Sturt is a killer downhiller, he rides a bunch of proto stuff for S9. He posts some amazing videos on BDS and then takes them down a couple days later. It was a joint project between Dan and his friend Wes. The guys on the BDS board were asking Wes to make the board after seeing Dan's videos.

That's a good downhill board. I got one from Dan and it's set-up with the proper gear. When you get going really fast, this thing is stable with the Gullwings. I dig mine!

Let me know if you don't want yours.
