hey,
SInce I'm not technically a "collector"*cough*, I'm more interested
in getting decks that have some feature I can steal from them, so
I can have another deck made from the "DNA" of the other one.
Example;
these two deck's "DNA" are being used by Prof.Skinny to make me
another "high performance" deck.
this deck was designed by stealing DNA from a Natas deck, a Chris Cook
"Eyes" deck, and a BDS Tail Tap II deck.
I guess I'm more interested in shapes & concaves than anything else.

I like the decks that I rode in the 60s and 70s. My first few were homemade. Then me and my 2 brothers had to share a Makaha clay-wheeler. It wasn't until about 1967 that I got my own clay-wheeler. I think it was a Black-Night. We didn't worry about artwork back then, we got whatever worked and was cheap and was usually used when we got them. Some of those 60s decks had some cool artwork. I am leaning towards the 70s stuff now, although I sold most of it these last few years. My last pool board was a Sims Taperkick and my last freestyle board was a Sims Rocco (still have it). One of these days I'm going to see if I can still do something on it. I quit skating in 1981. I guess I'm a bit older than most of you. Any of you 50 or older, or am I the only one? Mug's getting low, gotta go.

Graphics & skater. Im a sucker for Powell Peralta bonite decks. Some is decks I wish I could of had as a child. As a kid I loved Powell Peralta decks. Now more grown up Santa Cruz stuff I find myself really getting into. |

Memories and nostalgia, well put...they both accelerate my need for buying mid 90's decks. |
