Just looking for suggestions. I just recently received an 8.38 Flip Rune P2 Deck. I haven't set it up yet but I've been leaning toward riding a vert ramp in my area and wanted some suggestions on setting it up. Right now I've got a pair of Thunder High 147's and some 54mm Spitfires.

I wasn't sure if I should go with a bigger truck and wheel size? I finally work close enough to the ramp where I'll be able to get at least 3-4 nights week riding time in.

I was thinking INDY 149's with some 56-58 Bones Skate Park Formulas or some Spitfire Parkburner and bones swiss.

Yeah, stuff in this range should be good. You may want to go 60mm wheels, but whateves.

You'll probably need some pads too...

Just went with a pair of Indy 149's this morning with some 60mm Spits and some 187 pads. Hoping the cojones drop while I drop in.

Put your balls in your back pocket and go for it.

Make sure your trucks are snug, not too loose.

Have fun!

Nothing beats wobbing out and face slapping the opposite wall...

Success. Went to Rye Airfield in New Hampshire. Got some axle stalls and kick turns in. New to vert but not a complete tranny newb. Ate it a few times but it was worth it.
