Nice to see alot of interst & conversation about this deck. I would like to say, this deck does have a light patina, it does not smell like smoke  , nor is it a white bonite that has patinaed, oxadized or been pissed or deficated on  The paint sparkles in bright light. I don't think any of the afore mentioned explanations would cause this, except for defication, depending on what you ate.
Any ideas on rareity of this color or value, has anyone seen one before? Ideas on value, other than, I hate it when people say this but I'm gonna say it anyway  And, just in case you don't watch eBay, I won this deck at auction for $147.50 on 8/28/10 at 11:06:47 AM PDT.
Anyways, carry on.

| If it is in fact gold, I would say the color is very rare, but the fact that it has a large hole drilled through it for the clock still greatly devalues it. Not taking into account what you actually paid, I would think that it is still $150-$200 deck. Maybe $250 max. The only thing that would really drive the price up much beyond that would be to have a couple welinder completist bidding it up. This is just an opinion and I could be way off, but it seems like it would be a tough sell much beyond those numbers in the current market. |

| If you have a serious interest in finding out what it really is you will need to post better and bigger pictures. Until then it's a fact that it has "yellowed" with the clock installed on the top. Discussions based on "if" this and that is completely pointless. |
