Hello
Another newbie here, My name is Grant and I live in Scotland about 5 miles from the infamous Loch Ness Monster...
I quit skating back in 1992 when my girl friend got pregnant and I started working full time. I still have a huge love for skating tho. Even today I can still pull a kick flip and a heel flip. I cant ollie half as high as I could. Back in the day I was landing double kick flips over 2 skateboards stacked on top of each other. My favourite trick was 360 heli flips, Id probably break a leg if I tried one today tho.
Recently I was on EBay and I found a vintage 1991 Ray Barbie deck which brought back loads of good memories so I grabbed it and then I decided to try and hunt down a few other decks Iv had in the past. The last deck I skated was a 1992 PLan B Danny Way. Id love to find one of those again. It had a guy with an axe and a hockey mask on.
Anyway I recently found this site whilst looking for some other vintage skate decks on Google. I was looking for a particular vintage deck the G&S Billy Ruff W/ Clown and puppet graphics. this particular deck was th first proper deck I had. Prior to this I had several sh*tty Variflexes.
Anyway im happy to have found this place...

now i am aware that several people from my home country came over to canada quite a few years back (the weaker, gayer ones i would well imagine) but the next generation that followed from their sausage pocket mallarkey makes them canadians not scottish!
just like irish!
if a rat is born in a stable does that make it a horse then? |

Grant.
Send the booze we'll talk about the decks after.... errr... hmmm... maybe that's not a good idea...
Hotrod - That's quite the imagination you have for such a wee nut between your ears.
Whisky, whiskey, wisky... it matters not how its spelt, because there's but one kind that matters—the rest is all shite. |
