As of yesterday they (the 56es) are up on the NHS Fun Factory website. |

How are OJs these days, anyway? Looks like they have some great shapes, just wondering how they hold up? Reviews anyone? |

OJIII Blender 58mm have been the best wheels I have skated in ages. I had been riding the OJIII 61mm Teamrider re-issues for the last few years prior, went through about 5 sets.
All of the Teamriders held up really well. I like to do slides, and like a wheel that honks on a good rock-walk, or Kiwi slide. I have never been a fan of ultra-hard wheels, and have flatspotted way too many wheels.
OJIII urethane is great. I figure China's lax environmental laws mean they can poison themselves silly using older urethane technology.
Hooray for Globalization!!
The Blenders are just as honk-filled, and the shape is reminiscent of YOYO's from the days of the early 80's.
I can only imagine the massive Radials Duane appears to be riding as of late!

Duane gave me a set of 56s and I really can not wait to set them up. They look really good and have the exact shape and profile that I love in my wheels.

I thought that backside over the hip at Encinitas WAS a good pic!!!
It shows the profile of the conical back, radial lip and width of the wheel quite well, and I was stoked as fuck to grind that hip finally this past winter's trip....
I will shoot a pic of the wheels close up for ya later, I have a few new sets in the basement. When I find a wheel I like, I usually buy a few extra sets, in case they cease production. |

Here you go for a photo of the Blenders.
Such a great shape and hardness, can't say enough good things about these wheels!

i saw a great set of wheels that Duane was riding when we hit Buckys pool... they said OJ on em but they didnt look like the ones in the pik.
They were unprinted and looked embossed... so rad !

Pretty sure he's been alternating between unprinted versions of his 62mm and Hot Juice--depending on terrain. All orangish pink they were his. Three orange and a blue and they were hot juice. |
