Okay, let's compare notes.....How bad is the addiction in terms of dollars spent in any one month? On an average, how much coin are we coughing up? Personally, I'd say I'm right around 150 - 250 per month. Of course, depending on what gems become available it could be much higher. At one point, I dropped about 700 in one month's time. Any one else care to share? It's O.K., the little lady's don't know about this site! |

Yeah Grime, you are just a Player!! Okay at least I don't feel so guilty and alone about the loot. Judging by Madcow's post and now Grime's, I'd say I'm average. |

I'm worse than all of you... when I run out of cash, I track down people I skated with 20 years ago to see if they still have their skates and try to pry them from them as cheap as possible.... hey, it's the Scottish blood I guess. |

It was $4650 and I remember Foz10 fondly...that was unbelieveable! He has since retired---and apparently he meant it!
By the way, I too have a problem. I have sworn that I ended my collection again today just as two more boards that I barely remebered bidding on showed up at my doorstep. I had a helluva time talking my way out of it again.
I need help...(and a Bowman Superman, and a Shogo Kubo Airbeam, and a Caster Strouple, and....) |

I am trying a balancing act of selling enough to make enough to pay the prices for the decks I REALLY want these days! So far, so good... my collection will soon be a mere 5 or 6 decks, but they are all going to be the ones I REALLY wanted to begin with.
THEN, once I get bored, I'm gonna start spending money like there ain't no tomorrow! |
