Fargo had a Shakey's Pizza. I think it disappeared my second year of collage ('95ish?).

How about Happy Chef, with the statue of a Happy Chef- press the button, and he tells jokes. We used to stop at the one in Rogers, MN on our way back from Minneapolis all the time, just to press the button and hear lame jokes. Fukkin' idiot collage kids I tell you....

there are shakeys locations over here ..even have commercials for them...i used to like that place better when i was a kid...especially the one(for those who live in calif and have been around) in monterey park where they would have a projector that used to show mighty mouse and heckle and jeckle cartoons..
farrealls is reopening,not sure if it's the same as it was back in the day..
godfathers pizza..

there are still pioneer chickens still left,at least the one in boyle heights by soto and whittier blvd..BEST chicken strips ever!!
swansons ice cream parlors
there are still a few bobs big boys around..

not food related per say,but the stop n go convenience stores that were abundant at one time..
