A buddy of mine wants to have some decks made for his band, but doesn't want the graphics to come off on the first board slide, etc... Judging from the pic, would it be possible to screen print this with the "real fire" background or would we need to do the heat transfer thing? And if the screen print route was an option, would it be a huge cost difference?

In My Opinion Yes But the Background Flames Must Be airbrushed In and then the Foreground Silk screened In
tho i am New to Screen Printing But Since i have Background in automotive spray painting and Airbrushing thats My opinion |

I think it COULD be screened,4 color process printing, but it would look better (egads) and be more cost effective to be transferred. |

Dye sublimation onto a Heat transfer would look best. 4 color could replicate it, but dye sublimation would be tits (think home Photo Printers) |

no matter what printing process you use, the graphics are going to come off when you boardslide. |

also i dont know how you created that image, but it looks a little pixelated. you need to create the image at 300dpi, plus you need to use a template, because a lot of the main elements in that photo would be cut off once you put it on a board. |
