Dude that is much better than my first one. I did mountains and wood grain both looked like crap. Luckily my wife is a damn good artist and very patient. I still just go the mask and spray route though.

Thanks. It was hit or miss. Lot's of touch ups, etc. She LOVED it and wants to frame it. Chix love shit like that.

Picture number two. My son requested Luigi from Mario Brothers. The more I look at it the more I see the symmetry off, but oh well. He likes it. And so do I. Practice makes better. I don't believe in perfect in too many things.

Nice start! Airbrushing is hard! I tried once. You can probably tell how that went by my use of the word 'once'.

Thanks! I have another month off of work, so plenty of time to practice.

I have been asking my kids for ideas and letting them pick. My daughter wants a heart with dad in the middle. With skulls on the side? She's a lot like me in a lot of ways.

So, I am taking idea input. I as thinking of a mermaid maybe. Something labor intensive maybe.

I like the airbrushing, but the gun gums up and I constantly have to clean and wipe it up. No biggie.

Gimme some ideas!
